Description
An eye cut longitudinally to show an anterior staphyloma arising apparently in relation to the
ciliary body and iris. These lesions, the result of sustained high pressure, occur at points of
weakness such as limbal scars, the ciliary sciera in cyclitis and the equatorial exits of the vortex
veins.
